Bill Halsey - Jane Halsey

Bill Halsey is an organist, pianist and singer who has been travelling the world in search of interesting organs. He is now in Southern Italy making recordings for his website and writing articles for the Diapason organ monthly as well as Suite 101. His other area of expertise besides organs is opera, especially Italian and French opera. He is also interested in languages, and has an MA from the University of Paris-Sorbonne in Classics. He is working on a translation, from the Turkish, of Sinekli Bakkal, known in English as The Clown and his Daughter, a seminal Turkish novel from the period of Ataturk, written by a woman who was also a colonel in Ataturk's army.
